Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and a licensing agreement with AXP Solutions Sdn. At its Petaling Jaya campus on 2 August, 2011.

Under the MoU, UTAR will work together with AXP Solutions to strengthen, promote and develop co-operation in teaching and organising courses on auditing and certification; to share common and fundamental objectives of pursuing a holistic approach in the teaching of auditing on the basis of equality and mutual benefit; and to enhance general industry-academia collaboration in the field of auditing. The MoU also allows for AXP Solutions to provide audit software licences, a copy of AXP's Audit Express software installation CD and a master copy of dedicated materials to UTAR for teaching and learning purposes. In addition, AXP Solutions will also provide free training to UTAR lecturers on how to properly manage AXP's software and related technical matters, and also to conduct Audit Express workshops for UTAR undergraduates. Opportunities for eligible and interested UTAR undergraduates to undertake internship programmes or jobs will also be provided. In return, UTAR will promote AXP Solutions' software for use as a teaching aid in UTAR courses, and will provide updated information about the courses in which AXP's software will be used in. UTAR will also collaborate with AXP to develop simulation packages or case study materials for teaching and learning purposes, and also to print and distribute dedicated materials for UTAR lecturers and undergraduates related to the courses.

UTAR and AXP Solutions will also explore the option to promote Audit Express workshops to UTAR accounting undergraduates. The MoU was signed by UTAR President Ir. Professor Academician Dato' Dr. Chuah Hean Teik and AXP Solutions Sdn. Ken Lai Keng Yung, in the presence of Prof. Ewe Hong Tat, UTAR Vice President, International and Academic Development, Dr. Ong Seng Fook, Dean of the Faculty of Accountancy and Management, Dr.
