Hello All I can really suggest is to make sure the update instructions are followed. Installation Instructions: • Download and unzip the update to a location on your computer. The zip file contains a folder Iomega_H13_090310 which contains the file FWF2D16.ROM. • Connect your Screenplay to your computer. • Create an Updates folder on the ScreenPlay HD.

• Move the newly extracted FWF2D16.ROM file into the Updates directory that you just created. • Safely remove your Screenplay from your computer then connect it to your TV. • Turn on the Screenplay and select the Updates directory to start the update. • Please wait while your Screenplay performs the update.

Once the firmware installation is complete, your ScreenPlay Pro HD will automatically restart, and you should see the normal Iomega ScreenPlay user interface. Hi, I'd be really grateful if somebody could help me with this! I have an old iomega Screenplay HD media drive. Without thinking I formatted it, and in the process removed the firmware that makes it work as a media player. I've tried looking on the Lenovo (seems they have taken over iomega or something) website but there are no recovery options available, only firmware updates, with are actioned from within the operating system itself, using the remote and the TV.
